Job Description

Every stay at InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa in Dominica should be exceptional. As a Guest Relation team member, you’ll help ensure guests enjoy memorable experiences. This role suits individuals with calm energy, strong communication skills, and local knowledge.

Responsibility

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival and during their stay
  • Provide information on hotel services and local attractions
  • Respond to guest requests, feedback, and complaints diplomatically
  • Coordinate special services and VIP experiences
  • Build positive guest relationships to enhance loyalty
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth guest journey
  • Manage guest-facing correspondence and follow-ups

Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of hotel services and local attractions
  • Calm and diplomatic under pressure
  • Prior experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles preferred
  • Warm, welcoming personality with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to build positive guest relationships
  • Personalized, attentive guest service, focused on satisfaction, including handling VIPs and special requests
  • Effective collaboration and flexibility for diverse working hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality and professionalism in appearance and demeanor
  • Good communication and passionate about customer service. Good command over written & spoken English; additional languages are an asset
