Job Description

Join a high-performance engineering team at InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa. As an Electrician, you'll be entrusted with keeping vital systems running safely and efficiently. With your license, code knowledge, and stamina, you'll be key to powering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibility

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams
• Troubleshoot faults and resolve electrical issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with national safety codes and regulations
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance
• Operate electrical tools and test equipment
• Work across indoor/outdoor and high-access environments
• Coordinate tasks with engineering and operations teams
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed

Experience and Qualifications

• Valid electrician license or certification
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in electrical work
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Skilled in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors)
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Good communication and time management skills
