Responsibility
- Assist elderly residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Administer medications and maintain accurate health records as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
- Support residents in mobility and physical activities
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training sessions
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for elderly care
- Ability to handle physical demands of assisting elderly residents
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in caregiving
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Certification in caregiving or healthcare is an asset
