Job Description

Step into the role of Bellboy at InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa in Dominica, where service excellence meets breathtaking hospitality. You’ll be guests' first and last impression, assisting with luggage, guiding arrivals, and supporting front-of-house operations with charm and professionalism. We want you on our team if you're personable, dependable, and service-driven.

Responsibility

  • Welcome guests and assist with luggage during check-in and check-out
  • Escort guests to rooms and explain resort features and amenities
  • Provide directions and respond to guest inquiries courteously
  • Assist front desk and concierge with guest service coordination
  • Deliver items to rooms promptly as requested
  • Maintain cleanliness of lobby and entrance areas
  • Support other departments as needed

Experience and Qualifications

  • Well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Passionate about service
  • Team player and willing to assist other departments
  • Personalized, attentive guest service, focused on satisfaction, including handling VIPs and special requests.
  • Ability to assist guests with heavy luggage and also assist reception.
  • Effective collaboration and flexibility for diverse working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality and professionalism in appearance and demeanor.
  • Good communication and passionate about customer service. Good command over written & spoken English; additional languages are an asset
