Job Description

KraVers Bakery is looking for an experienced Head Baker/Pastry Chef with a background in artisan baking or pastry and the ability to adapt recipes to warm bakery conditions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement, while fostering an inclusive, supportive team culture through constructive feedback and psychological safety. Applicants must be well-groomed, uphold the highest standards of hygiene, and hold a valid Food Handler’s Permit, with availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibility

  • Lead production of artisan breads and pastries
  • Troubleshoot shaping, fermentation, and recipe scaling
  • Organize baking schedules to meet production demands
  • Prepare, shape, and bake various types of products
  • Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished products
  • Manage inventory and order baking ingredients as required
  • Mentor junior staff with clarity, humility, and emotional intelligence
  • Collaborate on production schedules, SOPs, and new product development
  • Uphold standards for food safety, hygiene, professionalism, and team pride
