Job Description
J. Astaphans & Co. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Auto Technician. In this role, you’ll perform diagnostics, conduct repairs, and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Responsibility
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine issues
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid checks
- Conduct safety inspections and identify necessary repairs
- Use diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance
- Repair and replace defective vehicle components
- Maintain accurate service records and follow workshop procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workplace standards
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance
Experience and Qualifications
- Certification in automotive mechanics or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic Technician
- Strong knowledge of engine systems, electrical diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues effectively
- Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
