Event Details

The Youth Development Division invites applications from young men and young women 16 to 35 years who are interested in pursuing training under the Youth Skills Training Programme in the following modules which are scheduled to commence in September 2019:

  1. Auto Body Repair and Spray Painting – Jimmit
  2. Hospitality Arts – Roseau
  3. Sewing Machine Repair – Roseau
  4. Auto Body Repair and Spray Painting – Castle Bruce
  5. Computer Literacy – Roseau, St. Joseph, Portsmouth and Wesley

Application forms can be obtained at the Youth Development Division Officer on High Street, Roseau or from District Youth Officers.

Youth Development Division

The Youth Development Division was established in 1972, and is the principle Government Agency responsible for implementing and coordinating youth development work in Dominica. The Youth Division works with a diverse range of young people, including youth groups (sporting, cultural, religious, political), disengaged and unemployed youth, young entrepreneurs, young people with disabilities, and those 'at risk'.
