Hon. Daren Pinard

Hon. Daren Pinard is a Dominican politician and public servant, currently serving as the Member of Parliament for the Colihaut constituency, which includes the communities of ColihautDublanc, and Bioche along Dominica’s west coast. Education and Early Career

Pinard is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree and was honored as valedictorian in 2010. Before entering politics, he worked professionally as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), developing expertise in financial management and public administration—skills that would later serve him well in national leadership.

In December 2022, Pinard was appointed as Minister of State in the Ministry of Labour, Public Service Reform, Social Partnership, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, with specific responsibility for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development.
