Bordieux

Bordieux is a small rural locality in Saint Patrick Parish, historically tied to the Grand Coulibri, once associated with the Bourdieu family. Today, it forms part of the Grand Bay Constituency, lying inland between MontineGeneva, and Bois d’Inde. Though not widely marked on modern maps, Bordieux remains connected via interior roads and is surrounded by forested ridges and ravines. Its landscape supports small-scale farming and reflects the area’s colonial agricultural past, contributing to its cultural and environmental character.
