Arthur Waldron Seventh-day Adventist Academy is seeking a dedicated Mathematics & Science Teacher passionate about nurturing students’ intellectual and spiritual development. The position requires an engaging educator who can simplify complex concepts, inspire curiosity, and foster resilience. The successful applicant will be part of a faith-based team that promotes academic excellence rooted in Seventh-day Adventist values.
Responsibility
- Prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics and Science lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Develop creative teaching methods to make learning interactive and practical.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Mentor students to apply problem-solving skills inside and outside the classroom.
- Encourage integration of Christian values in academic and personal growth.
- Support school events, science fairs, and extracurricular programs.
Experience and Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years working experience in related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management
- Knowledgeable of and committed to the philosophy, principles, and mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Be familiar with the Seventh-day Adventist Health message.
- Be energetic and creative.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
