Dive Dominica is hiring Dispatchers to coordinate daily tour logistics and vessel movements. You’ll manage scheduling, track operations, and ensure timely communication between crew, guides, and customers. This role suits an organized, reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced watersports environment.
Responsibility
- Coordinate daily schedules for tours, guides, and vessels
- Serve as communication link between crews, guides, and office staff
- Track tour departures and arrivals for accuracy and punctuality
- Handle customer inquiries, confirm bookings, and relay instructions
- Maintain accurate records of tours, crew assignments, and equipment usage
- Report operational issues and delays to management
- Support safety compliance by relaying emergency updates if necessary
Experience and Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal communication and clear reporting ability
- Clean police record
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Physically active and able to work flexible schedules
- Customer service orientation and professional demeanor
- Prior experience in dispatch, logistics, or tourism operations (preferred)
- Knowledge of watersports or marine tours (an asset)
