Dive Dominica is recruiting a skilled Boat Captain & Marine Mechanic to operate and maintain vessels for tourism and watersports services. This dual-role position demands certified navigation credentials, technical servicing ability, and a passion for marine tourism.

Responsibility
- Operate vessels for tours, charters, and inter-island trips
- Perform regular and emergency mechanical maintenance on engines and boat systems
- Ensure vessels are compliant with safety standards and ready for operation
- Manage fueling, docking, and vessel readiness procedures
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and service records
- Assist with loading, guest safety briefings, and general marine operations
- Coordinate with management to schedule vessel servicing and repairs
Experience and Qualifications
- Valid Boat Master II or III or equivalent maritime certification
- Proven experience navigating vessels in open and coastal waters
- Mechanical expertise in outboard and inboard engine servicing
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
- Must relocate to Dominica if not already resident
- Tourism or watersports experience is an asset
- Strong communication and situational awareness skills
- Commitment to safety, guest service, and reliability
